Goan Association (UK)
A voluntary community organisation serving the Goan diaspora across the UK, formally incorporated in 1983 as The G.O.A (UK) Ltd and run entirely by unpaid, elected directors. It organises Goa Day (the UK Goan Festival) -- the community's biggest annual gathering -- along with sports tournaments like Trook and table tennis, religious pilgrimages, and events marking India's Independence Day. The association also runs welfare appeals for members needing help with things like repatriation or funeral costs, and is currently marking its Diamond Jubilee (60th anniversary) throughout 2026.
